A prison diary

Archer, Jeffrey, 1940-2002
Books, Manuscripts
Jeffrey Archer believed that by writing this diary during his incarceration he would preserve his sanity. Eschewing profit, he instructed his publisher to give all proceeds to charity. His book is an extraordinary memoir of his stay at Belmarsh which opened his eyes to the injustices of the British penal system.
