Captain Robert Nairac GC was an enigma. Throughout his short but illustrious career he was lauded by many, disliked by some and often the subject of false allegations. His work in Northern Ireland earned him a posthumous George Cross. On the night of 15 May 1977 Nairac was abducted, tortured and shot in a remote area near Ravensdale Forest. His remains have never been found. In this second edition, Alistair Kerr answers some outstanding questions over Nairac's life and death.
