This booklet is one of a series of publications which seeks to cover aspects of Scottish cricket history which might otherwise be lost or hard to find. The main text for this booklet has been reproduced from the original articles which appeared in The Coatbridge Leader, from July 1930 to July 1931, with minor amendments. There is also a profile of C T Mannes which appeared in The Scottish Referee on 7 September 1894 and another from Cricket: A Weekly Record of the Game on 18 September 1902. All are the copyright of The British Newspaper Archive. The remainder of the text and the statistics are Richard Miller's own copyright and the illustrations are images from his own collection.
